Transport from Prague

Connection by car is direct using highway D1.

There is a fast bus connection (2:15) from Prague to Brno from the "Florenc" bus central station (accessible by bus and underground from the Prague airport) to Brno station "Hotel Grand" or "Zvonarka". Buses come very often, every 15 minutes approximately.

Comfortable connection between Prague and Brno is by EuroCity trains (2:30) going from Prague Main Station "Hlavni Nadrazi" or station "Praha-Holesovice". You can see more details on the web site (www.vlak-bus.cz or www.d-bahn.de).

Transport from Vienna

Connection by car is direct using speedway E461.

There is also a train EuroCity connection between Vienna (station "Wien Südbahnhof") and Brno Main Train Station.

Transport in Brno

By taxi
Going from the Brno Main Station to the Hotel Continental, one can expect to pay 200 - 400 CZK and a similar price from the bus "Zvonarka" station. We recommend negotiating the fare with the drive before entering the taxi.

Public Transport
Ticket must be bought before entering the tram or bus, e.g. at the tram/bus stop, in a tobacconist's, or at a ticket machine. From the Main Train Station one can use tram number 1 going to "Řečkovice" and leave at the stop "Antonínská". The Hotel Continental and the Conference Hall is 5 minute walk away (see the map).
